MILLER, Laura Matilda, Feb 10, 1911 - Feb 29, 2008. With a sense of deep loss we announce the passing of our dear mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt into the presence of her Lord & Saviour.

Laura's parents were German immigrants from Austria & Russia who settled as farmers in Melville, Saskatchewan where she was born. She had 3 brothers & 6 sisters all of whom have predeceased her except for 1 sister still living in Pentiction, B.C. She married Reginald Miller who became an engineer for the C.N.R. and who worked out of Melville, Sask. When he retired they moved to Saskatoon, later to Kamloops & when her husband died in 1987, Laura moved to Abbotsford. Their only child, Dr. Tom Miller, died in 1998, and her only granddaughter, Sheralee Miller died 3 months before. She is survived by her daughter-in-law Dorothy Miller, 2 grandsons, Reginald & Timothy Miller of Toronto & 1 great grandson Jonathan Miller, a sister Martha Cousins & numerous nieces & nephews.

Laura's life was characterized by her deep devotion to the Lord & Godly example. She was known for her generous & compassionate nature & great sense of humour.
