September 13, 1941 – October 5, 2021
Ken passed away peacefully in the early hours of October 5, 2021.
He is predeceased by his parents, Simon and Natalie, and his two brothers, Doug and Darryl.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years Ethel; sons Joe (Jo Anne) and Ed; grandchildren Kassandra (Mark), Dalton (Tricia), Graham and Lauren; great grandchildren Rhett and Wyatt; as well as numerous other relatives.
Born in Mission, Ken was raised on Hatzic Prairie. He worked in the fields of farming, mechanics, and truck driving for Louck, C.P., Cheam, and L.A. Transport. Work saw his family live in Aldergrove, Williams Lake, and then back to the Fraser Valley.
Ken loved fishing, hunting, travelling, and gardening. He took great pride in an honest day’s work and tending to his Matsqui homestead.
The family wishes to thank the staff at TRIM care facility and Dr. Vrabec for their efforts towards Ken’s health.
A celebration of Ken’s life will occur in the springtime.
