ELLERBECK Kenneth Charles. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Ken, who left us suddenly on the night of June 21st, 2013. He was born on December 9, 1931 in Mission, BC. Following school, Ken left Mission to continue a long and dedicated career with Overwaitea Foods and returned as a 52 year old bachelor to pursue the hand of Gwen Lawrence. Ken's many passions included fishing, camping, golfing, caring for his beautiful yard and being endlessly dedicated to his entire family, his many friends and his beloved dog, Fraser. Ken was predeceased by his Mother and Father and by his brother George (Maxine) Ellerbeck; and sister Bonnie (Bill) Gordon. He was survived by his wife of 29 years, Gwen; his brothers Bill and Bud Ellerbeck and families; his nephews, Rob and Ken Gordon and families; his niece, Anna Marie Holmes and family; and his stepson Craig (Val) Lawrence; stepdaughter Shaun (Matt) Dunham; grandchildren, Josh, Cole and Kalli and by so many dear, dear friends. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favourite charity or to S.A.I.N.T.S, whose efforts Ken supported.
