Kenneth Charles Brown born on July 31, 1921 in Edmonton, Alberta, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 22, 2002 in Mission, B.C.


Ken is lovingly remembered by his wife of 50 years, Irene; sister Frances (Bob) McLennan of Keremeos; nephew Wes White of Hope; sisters-in-law May Normand of Campbell River, Lorraine Nordin of Surrey and many nieces, nephews and friends.


Ken was a WWII veteran, a millwright for 30 years with Weldwood, Kent Street Division, and a resident of Richmond for 30 years.


In 1986, Ken retired to his summer home on Silvermere Lake near Mission with his loving wife Irene, where he hosted many gatherings with his family, friends and comrades.


A service of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Mission Funeral Home, 7386 Horne Street, Mission. If desired, donations in Ken's memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
