Kelly Alfred - our much loved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away in Abbotsford on Friday, October 27, 2006 at the age of 78. Kelly was born in Lestock, Saskatchewan on June 1, 1928 to Matyas and Catherine (Andris) Krammer. He was predeceased by his parents as well as his sister Helen and his brothers Victor and John.
Kelly is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Josie; daughter Susan (Joe) Crumley and their children Michael, David, Kelly and Daniel; daughter Shirley (Tim) Huber and their children Jason (Leslie) and Teresa (Jared Goodwin); son Richard (Agnes) and their children Christopher, John, Thomas and Brian; daughter Lisa McKee and her children Taryn and Austin; daughter Elaine (John) Motion and their children Adam, James, Nicole, Catherine, Emily and Anthony. Kelly is also survived by his great-grandchildren Bryce, Cohen and Sadie Huber; his brothers Bert and Willie (Tillie) and his sister Irene (Dwayne) Miller.
Kelly will be remembered by everyone who knew him for his unique ability to create things and improve things, no matter what those things might be. He will also be remembered for the way he loved and was loved by his family, especially his grandchildren. Most of all, Kelly will be remembered for his one-of-a-kind sense of humor.
Prayers will be held on Wednesday, November 1 at 7:30 p.m. and the funeral mass will be held on Thursday, November 2 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 33333 Mayfair Avenue in Abbotsford.
