Keith Richard Pineo passed away peacefully on September 22, 2018 in Abbotsford Regional Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Keith grew up in Nanaimo, graduating from NDSS. While attending Simon Fraser University, he met the love of his life, Karyn Carlson. Together they raised their family in various BC cities, later retiring in Abbotsford where he enjoyed his favourite pastimes of fishing and driving Karyn around in their convertible sports car. Keith is survived by his mother, Evelyn Spencer (Charlie); his wife Karyn; children: Jason Pineo (Lisa) and Tricia Stubbs (Ralph); grandchildren: Logan and Hunter Pineo, and Cameron and Marissa Stubbs. He is also survived by four sisters: Diane Bennett (Ron), Donna Dunn, Maureen Hambley (Glenn) and Margie Blackley as well as numerous in laws, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Keith was predeceased by his father Robert Pineo in 1988.
Keith will be remembered as a quiet, caring man with a great sense of humour. His wish was that his family and friends would remember him in his happy place - fishing at his favourite spot on the Vedder River.
At Keith's request, there will be no formal service.
