He only takes the best.
We are deeply saddened by the peaceful passing of our beloved Kehar Singh Cheema, at the age of 83. Born in Mahal Kalan, Punjab India. His amazing strength was always evident throughout his life in his various roles as a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend. He was predeceased by his father Surjan Singh, mother Chand Kaur and son Karm. Kehar Singh is survived by his loving wife of 63 years Dalip Kaur, four sons Harjeet (Jeeta), daughter-in-law Parmjit, Balraj, Dilbagh (Harminder), Harjinder (Patty) and "Baba Ji" to 13 treasured grandchildren; Theresa (Harp Johal), Chris, Christie , Chantelle, Regan, Rachelle, Brianne, Justin, Ashley, Nicole, Taylor, Dylan and Hailey and great grand-daughter Rayha Johal. His three sisters, three brothers and their respective families will also lovingly remember Kehar. He will be greatly missed by his many extended family members and countless friends whose lives he touched. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, August 23, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Abbey Arts Centre 2329 Crescent Way Abbotsford, B.C. followed by a prayer service at the Mission Gur Sikh Temple 32086 Lougheed Highway Mission, at 2:30pm.
