It is with great sorrow that we announce that Kaye our loving mother, wife and friend went peacefully into the arms of Jesus on May 17, 2008 after a brave battle with cancer at the age of 63.
She is survived by her loving husband of 29 years John, three children, Paul Bennison, Donna (Graham) Howard, Glen (Emily) Bennison. Grandchildren; Christopher, Dustin, Jenna, Michael, Matthew and Jack as well as many friends.
She was predeceased by her parents Kathleen Smith and William Thomas.
Kaye loved fishing with her husband John and enjoyed spending many hours in her garden. She also enjoyed her special times with her grandchildren.
A celebration of Kaye's life was held on Thursday, May 22 at 11:00 a.m. at Henderson's Funeral Home 34537 Marshall Road, Abbotsford, B.C. with Pastor Len Doerksen officiating. Interment followed at Hazelwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Christine Morrison Hospice.
The family would like to thank the staff at Christine Morrison Hospice for their loving care and support.
