Kay (Kathryn) nee Wheler
Kay passed away suddenly in MSA Hospital on Aug. 9, 2004. Born Sept. 20, 1918 in Scarborough, ON.
Kay was actively involved in the running and organization of the many clubs and groups she belonged to. She worked tirelessly for these groups always for the betterment of the clubs and their members, never expecting anything in return. She and Murray owned and operated successful retail businesses for many years.
She was a dedicated mother, grandmother and great grandmother, always supporting and encouraging each and everyone with her love, kindness and generosity.
Her son Jack predeceased her.
Survived by her loving and devoted husband of 62 years, Murray; daughter-in-law Nancy Philley; daughter Leah Hilts; grandchildren Glen, Ian, Alana, Bonnie and Darren; great grandchildren Tiffany and Tamara; sisters Marjorie Harrington, Barbara Hart; sisters-in-law Helen Wheler, Helen Philley; many friends of Alameda Court, TOPS, and the Whatcom and BC Studebaker Clubs.
