Kathleen Bernice Myers (nee Keeping) passed away peacefully on January 28, 2004 at Chilliwack Hospital at the age of 78 years. A life long resident of Abbotsford, Kathleen was predeceased by her husband Charles of 52 years on March 18, 1997. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Charleen Patterson of Abbotsford, Clair Neid (fiance Ken Ollenberger) of Cambridge Bay, Nunavut, her great grandchildren Cathy Lea and Elizabeth, sister Hazel (Ralph) Quadling, brothers Ron (Jean), Harvey (Arleen), Gerald (Peggy), Maurice (Muriel) Keeping and Dan (Joan) Caul, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful, caring Valley Home Support personnel. Kathleen will always be remembered by her warm kind heart and generosity of spitit.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford, B.C. A Memorial Tea will be held at 2410 Emerson St. in the Recreation Room following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
