Katherina passed into the presence of her Lord on October 19, 2007. Born on November 24, 1911 in Ukraine. She was preÂdeceased by her husband John in 1984 and her son Menno in 1971. Also predeceased by 3 brothers and 2 sisters. She is survived by many nieces and nephews both here and in Germany.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 25, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. in Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Rd., Abbotsford. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 26 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Menno Hospital, 32945 Marshall Road, Abbotsford, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the MCC.
