Karen Lorie Nikaido (January 16, 1966) passed away peacefully at the Christine Morrison Hospice, Mission Memorial Hospital after her courageous battle with cancer on June 30, 2006. She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her husband Douglas Landry; daughters Taysia and Kamiya; parents Roy and Ethel Nikaido; brother Dave; niece Kaiya; mother-in-law Jean Caissie; Brian Stieb and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family would like to thank Dr. U. Lee and Dr. F. Wong at the Surrey Cancer Clinic. A Âspecial thank you to Dr. Kobierski, Dr. Potter and nursing staff at the Hospice for their loving care.
Service to be held on Wednesday, July 5, 2006 at 2:00 pm at Cascade Community Church, 35190 Delair Rd., Abbotsford, BC with Rev. Greg Norland. A celebration of life to follow at the Rancho, 35110 Delair Rd., Abbotsford, BC. Flowers gratefully declined but donations to Christine Morrison Hospice, Mission Memorial Hospital, 7324 Hurd St., Mission, BC V2S 3H5 in memory of Karen would be appreciated.
