Kaldeep Keep Silcox (Bains) of Abbotsford, BC, passed away on Wednesday, 11 July 2018 at home at the age of 67 years. She was the very beloved wife of Don G. Silcox, dearly loved sister Darshan S. Bains, and dearly loved mother of Tyler (Roxana), Travis, Darren (Kelly) and sadly missed by four grandchildren Hudson, Morgan, Miller and Arabella.
Keep was born in New Westminster, BC, daughter of Ajmer (“Fuzzy”) Bains and Eileen Karnel Bains (Rama) of Queensborough, BC. She was predeceased by Father Ajmer “Fuzzy” Bains and brother Ricky “Buddy” Bains.
Keep worked for Canada Post for several years before becoming disabled and spent the remainder of her life at home taking care of her family. She lived with her pain but very but rarely talked about it.
Keep was an effervescent, positive personality who accepted set backs as a matter of course and always made the best of it, never losing sight of her dreams. She was generous, very easy to like, quick witted and loving.
She could cut to the core of any subject very quickly, succinctly describe it and deal with it accordingly. Keep was a character who was known to give her opinion whether it was asked for or not. She loved to talk and was very social and will be sorely missed by her family and those who knew her.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life to follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please send remembrances to the SPCA.
