It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mom, June Alsbury on Friday February 26, 2016. Mom passed away on the one year anniversary of Dad's memorial. They were lovebirds and best friends, married for 62 years. With her passing, Dad will get his angel back. Mom leaves to mourn, daughters Ruth Withers (Rick), Carol Siemens (Mark), Ann Klassen (Matt) and son, Michael Alsbury and precious grandchildren Kelly (Gail), Tyler, Allison (Andy), Jennifer (Shahab), Morgan and great grandsons, Wyatt and Riley. She also leaves her dear sisters, Leone Rose and sister-in-law, Diane Wiesner and nieces and nephews. Mom was an excellent homemaker who always welcomed family and friends. Her house was filled with love and laughter. She had a wonderful sense of humour. Mom had a zest for life and most of all loved being active. She skied, played tennis, sailed and took part in many "fun runs". She was an accomplished dancer and as a couple, she and Dad spent most weekends dancing with a group of very special friends. Mom was also a talented watercolor artist, belonging to the Fraser Valley Watercolor Society for a number of years. Please join us on Sunday, June 5th at 1:00 PM at the Old Clayburn Schoolhouse 4315 Wright Street, Clayburn Village, Abbotsford, BC.
