Miss Juanita Elgood, late of Abbotsford, BC, passed away April 5, 2005 at MSA Hospital. Juanita is survived by her aunt Lily and uncle Walter Powell, her uncle Ronald Edwards, niece Rachel Jones and brother-in-law Dave Johnson. Juanita is lovingly remembered by her extended family LaVerne Nickel, Gord Stenerson, Joe Biss, the Nickel and Dewhurst families as well as many friends.
Juanita was predeceased by her Mother and Father Mary and Howard Elgood, her sister Jackie Jones and her sister Jody Johnson. Juanita was a participant of the MSA Society (Wildwood) day program for 23 years; she was previously active in Special Olympics and Special Ventures Scouting.
There will be no formal service by request. A reception tea will be held on Friday, April 15, 2005 at the MSA Society at 30578 Old Yale Road at 1:00 pm. Donations may be made to the MSA Society for Community Living.
