It is with these thoughts that we say goodbye to Joy. Joy left us on Thursday, February 24th, she passed away peacefully at home under the loving care of her husband Ernie and daughters Sue (Martin) and Elaine. She will be sorely missed not only by them but by her oldest son Melvin (Sarah), and their children Max, Emily and Katy, They join their cousins James, Jessica, Jennifer and Jordan in their grief. Jaden her great grandson will know Joy’s love by the memories she leaves behind. Joy’s sisters Peggy and Jill arrive from England next week to celebrate her life with a private memorial tea held in her honour. They bring with them the deep felt sorrow from the many friends and family in England she leaves behind. Special thanks to all her close family, friends and caregivers who gave so generously with their support, time and compassion.
