Joseph died peacefully May 2, 2005 at Bastion Place in Salmon Arm.
Born in Jugoslavia July 22, 1920, he immigrated with his family to Canada in 1928, arriving at Pier 21 in Halifax. The family settled on a farm, first in Sask., later moving to the Fraser Valley in 1936 where Joe met and married his wife Marguerite in 1943. They moved to Mara in 1968 and have lived there since.
Joseph is survived by his wife Marguerite; sons Joseph of Armstrong, BC, Leonard (Tracy) of Mission, Nick (Debra) of Maple Ridge; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Predeceased by brother John (Regina).
Memorial service will be held Saturday, May 14 at 1:00 pm from the Mara Community Church, Riverside Rd., Mara, BC.
