Joseph Lucien “John” Boulianne peacefully passed into the presence of His Lord on January 7, 2006 at the age of 92. He was born on July 12, 1913 in Girardville, Quebec.
He is survived by and lovingly remembered by his wife Minnie, of 67 years; son Marc Boulianne of Kitimat, BC; daughter Viviane (Marvin) Grindler of Mission, BC; grandchildren Paul (Mahalia) and Jana (Mark), and great-grandchildren Kimberly, Emily, Jessica, and Keesa.
He was predeceased by his parents and 12 siblings.
John worked for Alcan Metals for 33 years in management and retired in 1972. He was amazingly inventive and an extremely caring husband, father, and grandfather.
Graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2006 at 1:00 pm from Hatzic Cemetery. A Celebration of John’s Life will be held at 2:00 pm at West Heights Gospel Church, 32060 7th Avenue, Mission, BC V2V 2A8.
Donations may be made in John’s memory to the Christine Morrison Hospice.
