Jonas Albert passed away peacefully at the Mission Memorial Hospital December 2, 2006, after a very brief illness, at the age of 94. He was born Nov. 3, 1912 at the Cabri, Sk. and farmed there until the late 60s. From the early 70s he made Mission his home. He is survived by daughter Marion (Les) Aasen, son Gordon (Elaine) Johnson, and daughter Linda (Jerry) Forsman; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, very special sister, Geneva Knight of Mission, and sister-in-law Margaret. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Louise in 1967, sisters Alma and Agnes, brother Carl, 3 brothers-in-law, Nelson, Otto and Harry. He was a great Dad, brother, grandfather, great grandfather and uncle. He kept his keen sense of humor to the end.
Special thank yous to Auntie Gen, Welton Towers, the Cedars and Mission Memorial Hospital for the excellent care of Dad. He will be missed but not forgotten.
