Born August 15, 1924 in Altonau, Ukraine, passed away July 22, 2018 in Abbotsford.
He leaves behind his daughter Ruth (Paul Jarman), son David (Terri), daughter Judy (Neil Schafer); grandchildren Matt ((Michelle), Sarah (Misha), Kimberley (Tyler) and Brad (Emily); as well as great grandchildren Gabriel, Seamus, Sloane, Lily, Clara and Darius. John was predeceased by his wife Helen (nee Schellenberg) in 2015.
Our heartfelt thanks to the staff at Maplewood House, where John spent his last days, for their compassion and their care. A celebration of John's life will be held Tuesday, July 31 at 1:30 p.m. at Bakerview MB Church, 2285 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford.
