WARKENTIN, John
With great sadness, we say goodbye to a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend who left our presence suddenly on February 3, 2009 to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Born in Curitiba, Brazil on February 15, 1952. They left Brazil in 1961 to Manitoba. From there they moved to Kelowna for one year. They then decided to settle in Abbotsford in 1967 where they established a poultry farm which he was still presently operating. John had a lifelong commitment to Jesus Christ. He loved his family, his involvement in church, and his mission work in the Dominican Republic.
He was predeceased by his father Abram in 2004 and is survived by his wife Hilda, children Robert and Kristina, grandchildren Victoria and Olivia , his mother Aganetha, brother Walter(Carol) and many family and friends. John will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. A memorial will be held at Northview Community Church on February 11, 2009 at 12:00pm to honor Johns life.Woodlawn FUNERAL HOME
