THOMSON, John Brown, July 22, 1915 - March 11, 2009. John passed peacefully into the presence of the Lord with his family around him, at Menno Home in Abbotsford, B.C. He was born in Winnipeg, MB. He was predeceased by his parents, Alexander and Marion Thomson and his wife Marnie. He will be dearly missed and remembered with much love by his children, Rennie Forrest(Paul), Laura Collins (Paul), Carol Cadwell (Alan), Joy MacKenzie (Ken), David Thomson (Joanne), 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and many caring friends. A Celebration of John's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday April 4th at the Sevenoaks Alliance Church, 2575 Gladwin Road, in Abbotsford. Reverend Dan Goldsmith will officiate. For those desiring, donations made in John's memory to the Christian & Missionary Alliance Foreign fund would be most appreciated.
