JANTZ
Jantz, John Sam: It is with sadness that we announce the passing of John Sam Jantz, husband, father and grandfather, at home in Mission, B.C. on July 8th 2008, at the age of 85. Born December 8, 1922, in Waldheim, Saskatchewan. He is survived by Luella, his wife of 60 years; his son, Lyle; daughter, Patricia (Jake) Buchanan; grandsons, Garth (Mary) Oswald and Colin (Melissa ) Oswald. John served with the Canadian Armed Forces overseas, from 1944 to 1947. He was predeceased by his parents, three brothers and one sister. A Celebration of Life will be held at St. Andrew's United Church, Grand Street in Mission, on Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or the CNIB.
