August 26, 1930 - July 6, 2018
It is with most heartfelt sadness that the family announces the passing of our beloved John Lee Ross. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Rose, daughters Darlene, Barb (Mark), Belinda, Sandra (Steve), sons Larry, John Jr. (Rosemary), Earl (Susan), 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. John was predeceased by his parents, 4 brothers, 2 sisters and is survived by one sister, Blanche VanHee of Rodney, Ontario. John will be sorely missed by several dear relatives and friends.

Sgt. John Ross was a Korean War Veteran. He served for twenty-six years in the Royal Canadian Navy with postings at Canadian Forces Bases and on Naval Ships. After his R.C.N. retirement in 1975, he worked as a custodian at Aldergrove Secondary until 1985.

John encouraged and enjoyed family get-togethers enriched with music and food. His motto was: "Life's uncertain....eat dessert first!"

We wish to thank the Mayfair staff for their wonderful care and loving compassion.
