John Kovacs passed away peacefully into the presence of his Lord on March 7, 2003 at the age of 83 years, at MSA Hospital, Abbotsford, B.C.
He is lovingly remembered and will be missed by his family; Maria, his dear wife of 55 years, daughters Mary (Bob) Coles of Kitimat, Janette Kovacs and her husband Brad Beer of Langley and special granddaughter Suki (Richard) Ford of Vancouver.
John will be truly missed by many close friends.
John immigrated to Canada from Hungary in 1951. He loved the outdoors and was a great fisherman. John took pride in his rose gardens...spending many hours taking care of them.
Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church, 33333 Mayfair Avenue, Abbotsford, B.C., with Father Tien Tran officiating.
Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in memory of John.
The family extends their appreciation to the nursing staff on 2 West at MSA Hospital, Dr. Winner and the ICU staff for their care and comfort.
