It is with profound sadness that we announce that after a long illness John passed away at Abbotsford Regional Hospital on October 25, 2014. John is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years Donna, sisters Seija (Leif), Raija and Tuula and brothers Eero and Heikki (Karen), as well as brothers-in-law Don (Darlene), Rick (Gina), Rob (Ronda) and David (Susan), sister-in-law Sharlene (Dave), along with many nieces and nephews. Donna would like to thank the amazing and caring staff at Abbotsford Regional Hospital for their exemplary care of John during his time there. They went above and beyond and will be forever remembered for their love and attention to John. No flowers please - if desired, donations may be given to the Abbotsford SPCA as John loved all animals as they loved him.
