With great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved father John Jamieson Barclay on Saturday, April 30, 2005 in Chase, BC.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Ethel, and infant son Barry, he leaves to mourn his long time partner Jean, and his sons Bob (Daphne), Bill (Veronica), Terry (Brenda) and his daughter Bonnie (Vic); nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He also leaves to cherish his memory his sisters Emily, Rebecca (Pete) and Alice (Pat) as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
John was born in Drumheller, Alberta on May 20, 1923. He made his home in Abbotsford for many years. For the past seven years he and Jean have enjoyed their retirement in Sorrento.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2005 at 3:30 pm in the chapel of the Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Rd., Abbotsford, with the Rev. Wayne Wattman officiating. Cremation will follow.
Service arrangements are entrusted to Schoening Funeral Service, Kamloops and the Woodlawn Funeral Home, Abbotsford.
