John Harry Getz, 68, of Abbotsford, BC, formerly of Swift Current, Saskatchewan, left us to be with Jesus on May 22, 2023 with his family by his side after a very brief fight with cancer.
John is survived by his wife, Brenda, his children: Sherry (Teo), Nicole (Steve), John (Jenn), and Chelsey, his grandchildren: Kailee, Alex, Mattias, Colby, Connor and Tayler, and his siblings: Rose (Norman), Kathy, Sharon (Wes), Gerald, Will (Michelle) and Peggy. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Amber, his father, Harry and his mother, Theresa.
John will especially be remembered as a gentle giant with his kind spirit and soft heart. He was a strong, hard-working man, an amazing son, father, loving husband and devoted grandpa.
