John Walter Hammer passed away peacefully on Friday, January 10, 2003 at Mission Memorial Hospital at the age of 85 years. Predeceased by his loving wife Lillian in 1994, as well as four brothers and one sister.
John will be lovingly remembered by his sons Dennis and Don(Cynthia); grandson Tyler; sister Anne (Walter) Woods; brother Fred (Ella); sister-in-law Jean Lightburn; nephew Jim (Shirley) and numerous other nieces, nephews and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 17, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Mission Funeral Home, 7386 Horne Street, Mission, B.C. If desired, donations in John's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of your choice.
