GREGSON John Edward. 1919 ~ 2012

Jack Gregson (Major Ret’d) died peacefully in his home at 92 years of age surrounded by his family. Born and educated in Victoria, he joined the Canadian Scottish Regiment prior to WWII. Served overseas during the war. Returned to Victoria and joined Canada Customs. Met and married his loving wife Jackie at the Canadian Scottish Officer’s Mess. He left Victoria with Canada Customs and worked throughout BC, and finished his career while living in Abbotsford. In Abbotsford he served the community volunteering on the Hospital Board, The Abbotsford Air Show Committee and the Rotary Club. He moved back home to Victoria in 2003. Survived by Jackie, his wife of 61 years, children David (Dianne), Maggie (Al), Eric (Lorna), Pam (Royce), Joan (Larry). He enjoyed his 10 grandchildren and 3 great grand-daughters.
