Mr. John George Tarangle passed away on August 18, 2003 at the age of 89 at his residence.
He is survived by his loving wife Annie, of 65 years, daughter-in-law Sandy and grandson Dean (Teri). He will also be missed by 4 brothers and 2 sisters; Nick, Steven, Martin, Timothy, Anna and Dolly, and their spouses.
He was predeceased by his son Gordon Tarangle, and 3 sisters; Sophie, Vicki and Nancy.
John taught school for over 32 years in Alberta and for 13 years in Abbotsford at Abbotsford Senior Secondary School. John was fluent in 6 different languages. He enjoyed teaching Commerce and French. He was a quiet person, but very intelligent. John served as an elder in his church.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2003 from 7-9 PM at Henderson's Funeral Home, Abbotsford.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 22, 2003 at 11:00 AM at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1921 Griffiths Rd., Abbotsford with Pastors Ron Nelson and Larry Hall officiating.
Burial will follow at Hazelwood Cemetery, Abbotsford.
