It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John George Kelley, husband, father, grandfather and friend. He is survived by his wife Annette; his children Debbie, Cheryl (Mike) and Corey (Lisa); his four grandchildren Brooke, Bradley, Austin and Kaitlyn, all of whom he adored; and many dear friends and family. He was predeceased by his parents and five siblings.
John was born in Oliver, BC on June 23, 1936 and passed away at Abbotsford Hospital on October 6, 2018. He suffered a battle with lung disease for many years.
John was a hard worker and worked as a welder for almost 50 years before retiring. He was a strong, gentle, quiet, wise and kind man, always provided for his family and was always more than willing to help friends and family in any way he could.
John had a love of flying and owned his own plane for many years. We only hope that he is now flying with the angels above.
At John's request, there will be no formal service.
