John Carter Alexander, born June 26, 1945 (Wynyard, Sask.) passed away June 19, 2003 (Mission, B.C.).
Survived by his mother Sybil, brother Jim (Margaret), siter Margaret Wright (David), son Tony Dixon (Stacey) and grandchildren Tyler and Kelsey, his children Sarah, Kenneth and Michael and their mother Thea, and a number of treasured nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father Rev. J. Millard Alexander.
Carter was a graduate of the University of Victoria in classics who made a career in social work and helping people, finishing as an employee of Corrections Canada. He cared deeply about those who crossed his path.
Service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, June 27 at All Saints Anglican Church, Agassiz.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice in memory of Carter.
