John Adrian O’Brien passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2005 at Mission Memorial Hospital, Mission, BC at the age of 83 years. John will be lovingly remembered by his wife May of 57 years; sons Michael (Terry) and Ronald (Wendy); grandson Shawn; granddaughters Cheryl, Pamela and Megan; and great grandsons Ayden and Ethen. John was a member of the Seaforth Highlanders of Canada and served with them from 1939 — 1945 and also in the Militia. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Andrew’s United Church, 7756 Grand Street with Reverend Judy Stark officiating. In lieu of flowers donations in John’s memory may be sent to the B.C. Cancer Society.
