ACHTEMICHUK JOHN passed away peacefully in the presence of his family in Abbotsford, on Feb 27, 2005 at the age of 84 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of sixty years Polly, children, Morris (Cathy), Darlene, Patricia (Bernie), Larry (Laurel), Judy (Dave), 11 grand children, 8 great grandchildren, his sisters Ann, Martha, Beatrice, Mary and brother Mike (Margaret) and many nieces, nephews and friends. A special thank you to the staff of the Worthington Pavillion for their loving care of John. A memorial service will take place at 10:00 am. Friday March 4, 2005, at Valley View Funeral Home, 14660 72 Avenue, Surrey, B.C. Donations in John’s memory can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 1212 West Broadway, Vancouver B.C. V6H 3V2.
