Johanna van Tilborg passed away peacefully in her 95th year, safe in the arms of Jesus, on Sunday, November 30, 2003, at the Worthington Pavillion, and formerly of Mt. Lehman, B.C.
Born in Holland, Johanna emigrated with her husband, John, in 1997; daughter-in-law Eleanor Gertrude van Tilborg in 1983; grandson John van Tilborg in 1996; grandson Christopher van Tilborg in 1998; and great grandson in 1998; and great grandson, Steven Shead in 2003.
Johanna is survived by one daughter, Maaike (Dirk) Pater; three sons, Mike (Elizabeth), Rien (Susan); and Bill, all of Abbotsford; 15 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.
Viewing will be at Bethel Reformed Church, Wednesday, December 3, 2003, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, December 4, 2003, at 1:00 p.m. at Bethel Reformed Church, 3260 Gladwin Road, Abbotsford,B.C. with Pastor David Vandervelde officiating.
Interment to follow at Mt. Lehman Cemetry. Wiebe and Jeske Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.
