Jock passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born and raised in New Zealand before moving to Canada in 1989. Jock was passionate about his work at Westgen and has fond memories of the people and farms he visited over the years. His greatest love was spending time with his family whether that was on the beach in Mexico, sitting around the dinner table, or being at the family cabin at Sproat Lake. He leaves behind his loving wife Lois; 3 children Paul (Brenda), Rachael (Steve) and Belinda (Sam); 6 grandsons, Nick, Thomas, Rob, Jake, Ben and Harry; his loving sisters-in-law Marnie and Joanne (Doug), his brother-in-law Wayne, his mother-in-law Mabel and many close friends.
A private family memorial will be held at Mt. Baker, Jock's favourite view as he traveled around the area. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
