Rouillard — Jeff passed away suddenly at Bevan Lodge on December 24, 2004 at the age of 87 years. He was predeceased by his wife of 59 years Alice in 2002 and by brothers George, Alphonse, Jerome, Wilfrid, Denis, and Paul; sister Cecile; and brothers-in-law Eldon Harder and John Dueckman. He is survived by his loving family, daughter Leona and husband Ken Haviland of Saskatoon, grandsons Jason Hubert of Saskatoon, Todd and wife Barb Hubert of Saskatoon and great grandchildren Taylor and Jeffre Hubert; son Morris and wife Judy Rouillard of Nelson, BC and granddaughter Michelle Cowan and husband Cale of Abbotsford. Also by brother Jean Rouillard of Montreal and sisters Margeurite Scollon of Toronto, Claire McCrea of Edmonton, and Therese La Croix of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, sisters-in-law Aline Rouillard of Calgary, Helen Harder of Abbotsford, and Luella Dueckman of Abbotsford, brother-in-law Gilbert (Bernice) Harder of Abbotsford. And numerous nieces, nephews and many friends in Avonlea Place where Jeff and Alice lived for many years. Jeff was born in St. Denis, Saskatchewan and met his wife Alice in Leoville, Saskatchewan where they were married in 1943. They lived in Moosejaw for a short time before moving to Saskatoon. He worked for the C.P.R. as an engineer for 37 years. They moved to Abbotsford in 1978 to retire. He was an active member of the O.A.P.O., Matsqui #69. He loved curling, lawn bowling and playing cards. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 30 at 2:00 p.m. in Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford. Cremation has taken place, a graveside committal service will be held in Saskatoon at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations made in his memory to the BC Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
