Jeanne Marie (Nee Des Mazes)
It is with deep regret that I announce the passing of my sister, Jeanne. She was born in Abbotsford in March of 1920 and spent the first quarter of her life here. She was the second of four children born to French immigrants Raoul and Maria Des Mazes.
Jeanne is survived by two daughters Gwennyth (Stuart) Bolinger and Madeline. (Happy) Barlow and partner Bob Caywood, along with three grandchildren and her sister Madeline Webber of Kamloops; many nieces and nephews and many relatives in France.
Jeanne had a good life and handled her sicknesses with courage and faith.
Funeral was held in Strathmore at the end of April.
