Jarrid passed away suddenly on July 24, 2004 at the young age of 22 in Bejing, China. He leaves to mourn his passing his loving parents (Suzy and Bill), sister Brittany, girlfriend (Sarah Kim), Nana (Helen Mosdell), Grandmother (Joan Page), aunts, uncles, cousins and hundreds of friend.
He was born on September 12, 1981 in New Westminster. He spent the last 12 years living in Abbotsford, where he attended Mountain Elementary, Yale Secondary and UCFV. Jarrid, as well, was an accomplished athlete and competed in elite levels of soccer and lacrosse. During his college education as a business major he was given the challenge and opportunity to teach English in China as summer employment, where he met his untimely death. He will always be remembered for his witty sense of humour, upbeat attitude, free spirit and zest for life. It was known to those around him that he lived each day with spirit and optimism in a Carpe-Diem manner. He will surely be missed by his family and friends more than words could ever express.
All who wish to pay their last respects to Jarrid are encouraged to join his family and friends to celebrate his life at a memorial service on Tuesday, August 3, 2004 at 1:00 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church, 3845 Gladwin Road, Abbotsford, B.C.
In lieu of flowers, donation may be sent to the Pediatric Ward at MSA Hospital (attention Linda Bachman) in memory of Jarrid Mosdell.
