Tessaro, Jane
Jane Tessaro (nee: Leavitt) passed away on January 13, 2011, at the age of 91 in Abbotsford, BC. She is survived by her son Stacy, grandsons Mark and Chad Deering; sister-in-law Nora Baldwin; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Victor and daughter Vicki (Bob) Deering.
Over the years she was a member of the Women's Institute, Job's Daughters Council, PTA, Toastmistress Club, Christian Women's Club, Eastern Star and Hospital Auxiliary, and served as a trustee on the MSA hospital board for 18 years. She also kept busy in church activities and assisting at blood donor clinics. She loved her sewing club and her happiest volunteer duty was comforting sick children in the Pediatrics Ward of the old hospital.
The family thank the staff of the Menno Home for taking such good care of Mom and Grandma. No funeral service will be held at her request.
