At sunrise, February 19th, 2005, with Wendy by his side, Jim slipped away from us after a lengthy illness. He was surrounded by his children and grandchildren during his last days and took great comfort in their voices and touch. Survived by his loving wife Wendy, of 45 years and his children: Sheldon, Allison, Tracy, Michael; grandchildren; as well as brothers Doug and Gary.
Born in Wetaskiwin, Alberta, grew up in Prince Rupert, B.C. and resided in Abbotsford, B.C. for the past 15 years.
A memorial tribute will be held on Thursday, February 24, 2005, 1:00 pm at the Chapel of Henderson’s Funeral Home 34537 Marshall Road, Abbotsford with Rev. Connie Thompson officiating.
Thanks to Dr. Cochlin, Dr. Kobierski, Dr. Noble, and all the Two West nursing staff at MSA Hospital for their care and compassion for Jim as well as his family.
