James (Jim) Ronald Paterson passed away suddenly on Monday, August 15, 2005 at Black Mountain Ranch, Washington, at the age of 68 years. Jim was predeceased by his first wife Erna (1995), his second wife Shirley (2002), and his brother William. He will be lovingly remembered by his children Angela (Len), Andrea (Wayne), Elaine (Bryan), Brad (Rene), Bob (Stephanie), Jodi (Jordan), Jay and Sara; 17 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; his very special friend Linda; brothers, sister and many, many friends. Music was a passion of Jim’s for many years, and he played in various bands in the community.
A Celebration of Jim’s Life will be held Saturday, August 20, 2005 at 11:00 am at Cedar Valley Mennonite Church, 32840 Janzen Avenue, (southeast corner of Cedar and Cherry) Mission, BC, with Pastor Ken Greter officiating. A reception will follow. If desired, donations in Jim’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
