After a sudden and brief battle with lymphatic (Burkitt’s) cancer, James "Jim" McBride passed away on December 16, 2004 at the age of 66. He was born on October 8, 1938 in Kilbirnie, Scotland.
He is lovingly remembered by his dear children; daughter Mary (Jim) McBride-Bargen and son James (Laura) McBride. He will be deeply missed by his mother Mary McBride, and his sister Betty Bolton and nieces Helen, Sue and Janet.
Jim joins his wife Carol, who passed away November 22, 2004.
Jim was a wonderful father and provider. His purpose in life was to care for and love his wife and children.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 22nd at 11:00 am at Henderson’s Funeral Home, 34537 Marshall Road, Abbotsford.
Donations may be made to the BC Cancer Foundation in memory of Jim.
