Fairclough - James "Jimmy" Sinclair

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James “Jimmy” Sinclair Fairclough to his Creator and surrounded by his family on May 30, 2013. Jim was born August 12, 1935 at Pelly Farm, Yukon Territory. He spent his early childhood in the Yukon, than spent the rest of his life in the Fraser Valley. Jim taught his family the importance of working hard and spent most of it as a floor installer. Jim loved nature, and spent much time fishing, hunting, gardening to feed his family. He showed us all to live life to the fullest and was loved by many. Jim spent his retirement years living with his son Stuart and his family.

Jim is survived by his children Tracy; Stuart (Jacoba); and Gord ; grandchildren: Mark (Becky); Ryan(Amanda); Jackie; Destiny; Dennis; Denyce; Danae, Dezrae; Rene; Travis; Marie; and great grandchildren: Madison; Bobby; Destiny; MacKenna; Kathleen; Bradey; and numerous nieces and nephews, and cousins. Siblings: Grace (Peter); George (Tiny); Bob (Judy); Vye (Fred); Shirley (Dennis), Frankie; Viola (Fred); Teddy (Evelyn); Gerald (Jane); Connie (Jimmy); Eric (Kristy); and Eilleen (Rodger).

Jim was predeceased by his grandparents Ira (Eliza) Van Bibber and James (Annie) Fairclough; His Father George (Grace) Fairclough; his Mother May Fairclough; two day old Baby Brother; his brothers Billy and Eddie; and his sister Mary. Viewing at 1:00 pm, Celebration of Jim’s Life at 2:00 pm at St Thomas Anglican Church on First and Gore in Chilliwack with a Reception to follow at St Thomas Anglican Hall.

Cremation and burial will take place in his beloved Yukon on August 12, 2013.
