July 14, 1931 - July 24, 2020
Jim Robertson passed from this life into the presence of his Lord and Saviour on July 24th 2020.
He was in his 89th year, born July 14th 1931 in Victoria BC to Archibald and Olive Robertson. Much of his happy childhood years were spent in school and learning music while growing up in the Qualicum Beach area. Jim married the love of his life Pauline (nee Millson) in 1953.
A school teacher, he taught in elementary and secondary schools in North Vancouver for over 32 years. He also served as president of the North Van Teachers Association.
He was a loving and devoted husband and father and faithful church member were he used his musical talents in leading choirs and playing piano and organ for several different churches.
Jim had a full and rewarding life and was an example of steadfast devotion to the Lord, his wife for 66 years, and his family. He will be deeply missed by Pauline, their children, Doug (Pam), Dave (Dawn), Kim, Dan (Cindy), 11 grandchildren and 11 great- grandchildren.
We know that he has gone to a better place to be with the Lord and reunited with family and friends that have gone on before. We thank him for leading us in that same direction and trust in his joy at "well done my good and faithful servant". Jim is flying again... and singing in a much bigger choir now.
