We are saddened to announce the passing of James Burchill Grant of Abbotsford, BC. He died with his family by his side on the 12th of April, 2019 in The Residence in Mission (TRIM), Care Home.
In his early years in Brandon, MB, James volunteered in a lot of activities such baseball, hockey, and cadets, in his later years he loved playing bridge.
He was predeceased by his loving wife Lois Grant, his parents Frederick and Aleta Grant and his brother, Jason (Jackie). He is survived by his daughters Linda (Tom) Hedges of Mission, BC and Aleta (Kevin) Delaney of Kelowna, BC; Grandchildren Erin, Bretton, and Jordan and Great Granddaughter Paisley. After retirement, James and his wife Lois moved from Richmond to Abbotsford in 1988.
A Celebration of James' life will be held at the Calvin Presbyterian Church, 33911 Hazelwood Ave, Abbotsford, BC on Saturday, June 1, at 1 pm, reception to follow in Church.
