Mr. Jacob "Jay" Ewert, late of Abbotsford, passed away on August 30, 2004 at the age of 89, at MSA Hospital.
He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Bertha; daughter Julianne Faith "Fay" (Stan) Carpenter; 3 sons: David Rolland (Denise), Wallace "Wally" Kent (Elaine), William "Bill" Lyle (Denise); 9 grandchildren: Denise, David, Christopher, Brook, Sholem, Cedar, Joshua, Ksenia, Gregory; and his sister Hilda.
He was predeceased by son Wayne Douglas, 4 brothers, and 5 sisters.
A time of visitation will be held on Thursday September 2, 2004, from 7-9 pm at Henderson’s Funeral Home at 34537 Marshall Road ( at Sumas).
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday September 3, 2004, at 2:00 pm at Heritage Alliance Church, 3440 Mt. Lehman Road, Abbotsford, with Pastor Ron Erickson officiating.
If friends so desire donations may be made to the Alliance Mission Global Advance Fund, in memory of Jay.
