DIRKSEN Jacob. Jacob (Jake) - went to be with the Lord August 15, 2012 at the age of 88 years. He is survived by his loving family: wife Mary; son Donald (Teresa) Dirksen; stepchildren Bill (Lissa) Decker, Jan (Phil) Thiessen, Chris (Tom) Lavigne and Sharon (Graham) Dick; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sister Mary; brothers Peter (Katie) and Henry (Elaine); many other family members and friends. Jake was predeceased by his first wife Anne; and his sisters Lily Dirksen, Helen Dirksen and Erika Gienger. A memorial service will be held Thursday, August 23 at 11:00 a.m. at Bakerview MB Church, 2285 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford. In lieu of flowers donations to MCC would be appreciated.
