DOWDING, Jack. January 29, 1925
- January 3, 2012. Passed away at Abbotsford Regional Hospital, January 3, 2012 at the age of 86. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Katherine ''Kay'', children; Ken, Gary and Diane, grandchildren; Connor and Madisen, brothers; Keith and Robert, sisters-in-law; Gail, Bette, Hilary and Ann, nieces and nephews. He was a caring husband, father and grandfather, we will miss him. Born and educated in Vancouver, BC, chosing a profession of school teaching, he taught in different areas for a few years, settling in Chilliwack in 1965, and retiring from Sardis Secondary in 1982, following 35 years of teaching. Celebration of Life will take place in the spring, at Loon Lake, where he spent many years fishing and enjoying life with family and friends.
